Seated in L5 plane with mail piled on lap is Photographer Bernard Hoffman on way to front. There wasn't room in plane for mail, so Hoffman offered to take it on his lap. A wheel brook off of the plane when they landed. He was in a C47 the day before which also broke a wheel on landing.
